My name is Robert Gow. I’m a Canadian director, producer, cinematographer and editor.

I’m lucky enough that my passion has allowed me to experience many different aspects of film production. I’ve produced and directed television series, films and commercials. I’ve enjoyed it all.

No shoot is exactly the same and that’s what makes the job so much fun. No matter how much you think you know, there’s always more to discover.

In my spare time, I like watching old movies and spending as much time in nature as this career will allow me (which isn’t as much as I’d like).

Losing Yourself: An AMI documentary about Katrina O'Neil's battle with memory loss. At 29, she suffered a cardiac arrest, which put her in a coma. When she woke up, she thought she was 15. She had lost all memory of her children and her entire adult life.

Forced Disappearance: A documentary about Lateef Johar Baloch, a refugee who underwent a 46-day hunger strike, before having to flee his country to avoid political assassination.

Real Food Stories: A Bell TV1 series about the problems facing the food industry and the people trying to fix them.

Real Faces: A documentary series on Bell TV1 about larger-than-life people. Their stories are joyful, tragic, unique and sincere. Subjects include MMA Fighters, drag queens, soldiers, refugees and residential school survivors.
